The Central Committee and all the members of the EEK, we salute you and we hail with enthusiasm the great victory in the latest legal battle and your principled struggle against State repression and for all the rights of the Turkish working class and Kurdish peoples, for freedom, social justice and Socialism!
Your victory is our victory too, a victory of your brothers and sisters on the other side of the Aegean, the Greek working class and oppressed confronting the viciousness and brutality of capitalism and imperialism, of “austerity”,the endless nightmare of measures of social cannibalism on our people imposed by the EU, the IMF, the ruling classes and their capitalist governments in Greece and in Europe. We know very well in our own bitter experience what means State repression, prisons, and trials( the EEK has already two this week only) – but we know too very well how stronger we come always after each of these confrontations with our class enemy.
Your victorious battle has an international content and importance. It is, a source of inspiration for all fighters for Trotskyism, for the Refoundation of the Fourth International and world Socialism, and particularly for the youth and for women in struggle for social emancipation.
